Job Description:

Raza Siddiqui & Co. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with taxation laws, and overseeing various accounting functions. This role requires strong expertise in financial reporting, taxation, and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile monthly and yearly opening & closing balances.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ledgers, and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax regulations.
• Operate and manage QuickBooks and other ERP-based accounting software.
• Oversee accounts payables, receivables, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and analyze variances.
• Ensure timely tax filing and documentation for audits and regulatory authorities.
• Coordinate with auditors and handle communication with regulatory departments.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of FBR regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Minimum age limit: 45 years.
