About the Role:
As the Dispatch Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our outbound logistics operations, ensuring the timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of our high-quality edible oil products. You will lead a dedicated team, optimize transportation processes, and maintain strong vendor relationships while upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance. This position is critical to maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily dispatch operations for finished edible oil products.
- Coordinate effectively with production, warehousing, and sales teams to ensure seamless logistics.
- Optimize transportation routes, schedules, and vendor partnerships to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure meticulous documentation and compliance for all shipments.
- Supervise and mentor the dispatch team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and safety.
- Implement and enforce strict safety and quality control measures in all dispatch activities.
- Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights to senior management for continuous improvement.
- Proactively resolve any dispatch-related challenges to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in dispatch or logistics management, preferably in the edible oil, FMCG, or manufacturing industry.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a team.
- Strong knowledge of logistics principles and hands-on experience with ERP/WMS systems.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of performing under pressure.
- Familiarity with local transportation regulations and food safety standards is an advantage.
