Job Description
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in bakery or food production.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Food Science, or related field.
- Preference for candidates residing in Model Colony/Malir.
Responsibilities
- Monitor all stages of bakery production to ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO).
- Inspect and verify the quality, freshness, raw materials, and storage conditions of bakery ingredients (e.g., flour, yeast, sugar, dairy, eggs).
- Perform sensory evaluation (taste, texture, aroma, appearance) of baked goods.
- Conduct routine sampling and laboratory testing for microbial, physical, and chemical parameters.
- Maintain and calibrate quality control equipment.
- Identify and document non-conformities; coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with production teams.
- Prepare quality reports for management and external audits.
- Inspect packaging and labeling for compliance (product name, ingredients, batch number, expiry date, allergens).
- Ensure packaging materials are safe for food and properly sealed.
- Enforce hygiene and sanitation practices across the production facility.
- Train and educate production staff on quality standards.
- Maintain detailed inspection records, test results, deviations, and corrective actions.
