Pepsi is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to develop and execute sales strategies within a designated territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving primary and secondary sales, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring the effective placement of our assets and products in the market to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and marketing plans to achieve company sales goals, profitability, and market share targets.
- Target Achievement: Compile and execute zone/area-specific plans to achieve given targets for primary and secondary sales, as well as product and package availability.
- Market Execution: Conduct regular market visits to supervise, monitor, and ensure the proper execution of set objectives. Build and cultivate strong, lasting relationships with current and potential dealers and distributors.
- Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze critical market intelligence on market share, consumer trends, competitor activities, and product availability. Communicate insights accurately and timely to senior management for informed decision-making.
- Asset Management: Supervise and ensure the optimal placement, injection, and utilization of company assets in the market, including coolers, glassware, shell signage, and other promotional materials.
- Distribution Management: Manage the distribution network to ensure efficient sales operations, focusing on Return on Investment (ROI), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, and effective inventory management.
Job Requirements:
- Education: BBA / MBA with a specialization in Marketing.
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of relevant sales experience within the Beverages or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
- Skills:
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth understanding of distribution management and trade marketing.
- Ability to analyze market data and develop actionable strategies.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
