Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Lead to oversee preventive maintenance, utility operations, and plant safety. This key role is crucial for ensuring the maximum efficiency of machinery, compliance with industry standards, and supporting smooth production operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage preventive maintenance schedules in close coordination with the Production team.
- Minimize machine breakdowns in the Dyehouse, Finishing, and Utilities departments.
- Oversee smooth utility operations, including compressors, boilers, RO plants, generators, and wastewater treatment systems.
- Control spare parts consumption and ensure their timely procurement.
- Maintain and monitor electrical supply systems (HT/LT & gensets).
- Track and control operational KPIs related to electricity, fossil fuel, and water consumption.
- Ensure wastewater parameters and emissions meet PEQS (Pakistan Environmental Quality Standards).
- Drive EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) compliance and ensure the timely completion of Intelex actions.
- Supervise contractors and service providers to guarantee safe and high-quality maintenance work.
- Manage general plant maintenance, including ACs, coolers, lights, and fans.
Requirements
- Education: BSc/BE in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: 4–6 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of utilities, plant machinery, and safety standards.
- Skills: Hands-on approach to preventive maintenance and strong problem-solving abilities.
