Job Description:

Vaults Energy is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager Finance – Import to lead and manage the company’s financial operations related to import and local procurement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling import documentation, financial compliance, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all financial aspects of import operations including LCs, banking documentation, and vendor payments.
• Ensure compliance with import regulations, taxation policies, and internal financial controls.
• Monitor cash flows related to import transactions and coordinate with banks for trade finance activities.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams for seamless processing of import-related financial transactions.
• Prepare financial reports related to imports and present insights to management for strategic decision-making.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of import accounts and address discrepancies.
• Manage relationships with banks, customs authorities, and other external agencies.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
   
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in import finance and related domains.
• Strong understanding of import procedures, banking operations, and financial compliance.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, documentation, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
