Job Summary:

Dr. Ziauddin Hospital is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department. The role involves assigning duties, inspecting work, handling complaints, ensuring cleanliness, and maintaining hygiene standards across the hospital. The supervisor will ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment for patients, employees, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign duties to housekeeping staff and inspect their work to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
• Coordinate work schedules across different shifts for effective workload distribution.
• Recommend and implement improvements for service efficiency and performance.
• Conduct inspections of the facility to identify repair or replacement needs for furniture and equipment.
• Train new housekeeping staff and provide continuous performance feedback.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Address health and safety concerns regarding staff and personal safety protocols.

Knowledge and Competencies:

• Thorough understanding of cleaning and disinfection protocols.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

• Proficiency in MS Office and general computer literacy.

   

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree along with a Housekeeping Course/Certification.
• Experience: 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
